I’ve upgraded my iPhone (EDGE) to v2 firmware and updated iTunes to 7.7 and then checked out the App Store. Thoughts so far on the firmware and the apps:
Push email from MobileMe is great. I may have to forward mail from my usual address to the .Mac account.
Multiple email deletion and moving is very nice. [...]
Talk about your über-geeky: Joel at OmniGroup has posted his method of tracking characters in OmniFocus. Fourth edition D&D is a sea change in the way powers, abilities, and just about everything else, and his method is interesting. Again, über-geeky but so crunchy.
I know there are sites like Don’t Forget the Milk and TaDa List. The problem with those is you are dependent on connectivity. 3G iPhone or not, there is no getting to your list if you are stuck with no signal in the metal box monstrosities of a supermarket. Syncing notes to your notes may [...]

One of the very few annoyances I have about my über-reliant, safe and sporty car is the lack of AUX in for my iPods and iPhone. I am relegated to using FM transmitters which can be touch-and-go in the radio-saturated DC/NoVA/MD metro area. I used the Kensington Digital FM transmitter which mostly positive results. This [...]

How do you sync notes?
I use Missing Sync for iPhone from MarkSpace and [...]

I mentioned Missing Sync for iPhone in a previous post and that it was “coming real soon now”. It is out and I have been using it for a few weeks. As with their other Missing Sync products, there is no demo available. I’ve used Missing Sync for Palm and Missing Sync for Windows Mobile [...]

Tired of being prompted to turn on “Airplane Mode” when plugging your FM transmitter into your iPhone? Griffin’s iTrip AutoPilot is the first Apple-approved iPhone adapter. The auto-scan feature will be nice in the radio-saturated DC area.

My speculation is that Apple will have an iPhone-specific press event to coincide with the official release of the SDK. I hope that they make some more changes:
Cut and paste - seriously, still not added?
Support for the Nike + iPod Sport Kit. Come on - the device has a huge screen to display workout info [...]
